·       Applicable rules and instructions of the Committee for the Purpose of Control and

Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA)

·       Communicate effectively with the stakeholders

·       Practice occupational health and safety, hygiene and sanitation and quality standards

How to apply and Mode of selection

1.     Candidates have to apply as per the application format given in this advertisement at www.imtech.res.in

2.     One self-attested set of documents should be submitted along with the Application Form. All documents pertaining to educational qualifications and experience, if any are to be brought in original at the time of joining.

3.     Latest medical fitness certificate from registered medical doctor to be provided along with application form.

4.     Candidates may apply for the course by filling the application form online through email (neeraj@imtech.res.in) or submit the form by hand or by post to Head, IMTECH Centre for Animal Resources & Experimentation (iCARE), CSIR- Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH), Sector 39 A, Chandigarh 160036.

5.     No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates for joining the program.

6.     Candidates will be selected on first come first serve basis. Remaining candidates, if any will be called in the subsequently for next batch. Therefore, it is advised, that the candidates in the waiting list to visit our web site at regular intervals for fresh notifications on the start of next course. Preference will be given to the candidates (waiting list) already registered. 7.     Registration fee of Rs. 200/- has to be deposited by the selected candidates before the commencement of the course.

General terms and conditions

1.     CSIR-IMTECH will not be liable for any type of employment, promotion and future carrier growth.

2.     No financial support shall be provided by CSIR-IMTECH.

3.     No legal liability in case of any accident while undergoing training at CSIR-IMTECH.

4.     Candidates will be performing all the day to day tasks of the facility such as change of animal cages, cleaning and washing of cages, waste disposal, autoclaving, feed and water change, cleaning of rooms etc.

5.     Continuous assessment and evaluation of the candidates will be done during the training period and certificate will be awarded to successful candidates only.

6.     Course material shall be provided from the institute.

7.     Free accommodation on sharing basis may be provided to outstation candidates subject to availability.

8.     The candidates shall be subject to the rules, regulations and administrative control of the CSIR-IMTECH during the course.

9.     This is not an offer of the employment, express or implicit, at CSIR-IMTECH and is merely an initiative to impart training by CSIR-IMTECH.
